Training

Alpine Home Care employees must complete a comprehensive orientation program, specifically designed for home care professionals. In addition, all caregivers and nurses receive training and development on a regular basis through educational and best-practice seminars.

Caregivers are educated on such topics as infection control, nutrition, safety measures, abuse and neglect.  They are further trained on diseases such as dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, ALS, heart failure, diabetes, pulmonary disease, orthopedic issues and hospice care.  All caregivers are required to demonstrate a wide-range of skill competencies in our Alpine Home Care Skills Lab, our state-of-the-art training facility, prior to providing direct patient care.
